A no-brainer and a wise move by UND and the Summit Conference (probably for the MVC as well). The addition of UND is a first step toward a regional alignment that'll be pretty cost effective with regards to travel. Wonder how long it'll be before the Summit invites Denver and Oral Roberts out of the conference?

More importantly, a nudge of sorts to the Big Sky as well. It'll be interesting to watch.

Welcome back to an odd number of teams with no travel partners. God, I love this conference....

No travel partners? Only one team is not going to have a travel partner. And that is UNC.

It will just be like when Sac was the lone wolf team, everyone else in this conference will have a travel partner. Plus with UND leaving it opens up a best chance to return to a complete home and home conference slate with 20 conference games each. The only downside is there may be a few weeks when your team only plays one game a week and we may need to shorten the preseason. But what would you rather have, a complete H&H conf schedule or more pre conf games?
