I thought I'd update you all, this was from today's Salt Lake Tribune:

One source close to the Utes coaching search said Krystkowiak is believed to have been contacted by Hill in his hunt to replace Ray Giacoletti and that the assistant for the Milwaukee Bucks indicated he was interested in the job.

Monty not interested, Morrill not interested, I guess they want a Griz pretty bad. LK would be a great choice, but I just don't see it, unless there is something brewing within the Bucks org.

I think it'd be the opposite, if there was something brewing in the Bucks organization it seems like that'd make him less likely to leave seeing as he's coach to being head coach. Otherwise I could see him taking this.

I mean he almost left UM for hoops powerhouse pepperdine, i'm sure Utah isn't too far below him.

As for Pepperdine, he didn't come as close to going there as you think.

Keep in mind it was a good fit not only because LK played there, but his wife Jan played at Wisconsin-Milwaukee. You would also be assuming LK would leap frog assistant coaches Lester Conner who has much more NBA Coaching experience than LK and also played for the Bucks, and Brian James, who has considerably more coaching experience. I agree LK would be a great choice, I just think it will ultimately be elsewhere or maybe he will bolt for a high profile college job. I guess nothing should surprise in sports anymore.

I'm just hoping against hope that he gets an NBA job instead of returning to the college realm and dominating. I mean I would be happy if he did excellent for another college program but I couldn't help thinking "fuck, I wish that was us."

I have read blogs from Milwaukee that indicate that Buck fans and some in management want to fire the Bucks head coach and make Larry the head coach. They want it done before the end of the season though it probably won't be done until after the close. Larry is still the fan favorite there.
