IMHO, Lady Griz are cruising right now. That could be a tough spot some night when they are ripe for an upset...But even then, they are clearly the class of the league. I wouldn't be surprised to see them not drop another game going into the NCAA tourney.

You need to get you reyes checked and then take a class or tow on fundamentals of basketball. I see on Bn you first accuse Dana Conway of flipping off the crowd, then you "guess" it was Morales. Do you even know if she was really using the midlle finger? If you cannot even get the correct player, I wonder if you can even distinguish one finger from the other.
Now for your comment on Morales. You said your team made mandy look like a putz. How the F do you get that? She scored 20 and easily coul dhave had 30. In case you missed the rest of the season, Mandy is the only player in BSC Hostory to win s straight BSC awards. Putz indeed.
Finally, you said the game should have been a 5 point game or a cat win. Are you serious? You need help HB, seriously. I understand bias toward your favorite team, but outright stupidity? and how often do you pay attention to the cats, ladies or otherwise. i know you are a big griz fan griz backer, i was actually at the game and all i am doing is telling you what i saw, and now what i am talking about. a lot of things have to go wrong to drop a game by 20 points or more at home, and all that i am saying is that a lot of things were f'ed up about how Cat-Griz was coached on our side. (1) last time i saw a game when most if not all the bench was used was when we lost to Tech (2) Mercer didnt get any minutes at all and was held to 0-2 i belive, (3) normally goodman, dehann, thorton dont get playing time at all.
the starters that played only nelson had a half way decent game, perry was her usual zip, wallace was usual, and what happened to garcia(?), and connely dissappeared.
this was not a normal type game for the lady cats, we dont drop a conference game at home by 20 points

It may not have been by twenty points but Sacramento State won their 'first ever conference road game' in the eight years of their up to then BSC participation last season (19 Jan 06) over the MSU Bobcats 66 - 57.
Then of all things losing to NAIA Montana Tech this season (12 Nov 06) by the same score, 57 - 66. The LOrediggers are 10 - 2 with losses to Whitworth College 61 - 67 & Whitman College of Walla Walla 57 - 76.
I don't know which is more ignominious.

Well we drove over the hill to watch the game and our main comment was that it was the quietest basketball game I had ever been too. The lady Griz could have and should have won by 30, but Robin played most of the last 10 or 11 minutes wiht mostly the bench, I think every player got at least 8 minutes of playing time.
What happened to Scotta for the Cats, wasn't she a big time scorer last year, she had two shots both trey's that looked pretty darned good. I do not see where she is getting much PT why is that.
I never saw the alleged flip off,, but did see a bunch of cheep shots on both sides that were not called, includiing a punch to the face of Carlson but she just went about her game.

Lady Griz could easily have put up 100+ points against the Cats. If the Cats pushed them, they would have. But, the Cats' coach realized it was a losing cause and thus started to substite in players that rarely played so that they could get experience. Selvig then followed up by substituting players that also do not get much playing time like Snead, Robison, and Beck (who will be a great player by time she is done playing for Lady Griz).
I sure wish the Cat's played better. They wouldn't have come closer, but they would have scored more points. The Lady Griz would have scored over 100 points, though.
If you push the Lady Griz, the Lady Griz will just push back harder. That is what happened yesterday. The Cat's just stopped pusing with around 10 minutes left to play.
