LADY GRIZ what happened in 1987???

I see a 1987 banner for Lady Griz. Its not NCAA. What does it mean. What did the LADY GRIZ do in the 1987 season to get a banner put up. If you have a link that would be cool also.

On that note, does anyone know what the deal was with the 98-99 season? That's quite an anomaly sandwiched between all the 20+ win seasons. Was that the season spent at Sentinal? You would think I would recall since I was going to school then.

That was the year they played at Sentinel. but I don't blame Sentinel for that. I blame injuries. Lauren Cooper missed the whole season.
Lady Griz were actually on the way to a normal season until Megan Harrington went down with an ACL. That screwed up the season more than anything else. Lady Griz never recovered from that injury.
