Lady Griz vs. Sac State

Lady Griz seem to really struggle on offense when the three isn’t falling, especially in games where Gfeller isn’t producing. Sac State is much improved from early in the season.

Now trail by just three with 2:48 to play. Good energy late. Marxen has missed some huge FTs.

Gfeller has been dominated by their freshman post all game.

Wow. What a gritty comeback win for the Lady Griz. Trailed pretty much all game, didn’t shoot it well, but found a way on the road.

Two games ahead of fourth place after Montana State lost to Portland State.

Ladies frankly stunk it up for around 35 minutes but gotta love their grit, passion, and moxie. Trailed by 5 points with 30 seconds left. Winning in the clutch hopefully bodes well for Boise! Shot like 33 percent fr the game as well. Winning ugly but a win is.......!

You would think at this point in the season, we wouldn't have bad slumps like this game, throwing bricks, bad passing won't cut it against higher caliber teams. Missing layups, worse yet small guard Marxen going inside for sloppy layups versus a passing play? Can't blame the coaching at this point in the season, players make it or break it. Lucky win.

You have to expect this playing on the road. It's real progress to win gritty on the road. But not good games to listen to. These are the kind of games, they've lost other years. Have more veteran depth this year. On reading the play by play, all made mistakes that could have lost the game, but in the end nearly everyone made contributions for the road win.
