So, how does the WNIT work? I know BSC's regular season champ gets an auto, so would that go to PSU? I think PSU could do some damage in the WNIT

Does not automatically go to PSU but they still have a good shot of being selected.

Back-to-Back for Lady Griz
Big Sky Conference
3/14/2009

MISSOULA, Mont. - Senior Mandy Morales scored 23 points and grabbed nine rebounds to lead Montana to a 69-62 victory over Portland State in the Big Sky Conference women's basketball championship game here on Saturday afternoon.

It was Montana's 11th straight victory. The Lady Griz (28-4) secured the Big Sky's automatic bid to the NCAA Tournament, which begins next week. Montana captured its second straight Big Sky Championship and their 14th in the 21-year history of the tournament. Counting their Mountain West titles from 1983-88, Montana has won 20 conference tournament championships.

Congrats lady griz.

It was great watching robin selvig finish cutting down the net. He is the man.

Mandy deserved mvp.

Guess I missed the news. Our future point guard, Ashley Ferda in leg brace because of an ACL. Hope she recovers quickly so she can take over in two years. Shaunte will likely be starting PG next year.

Hope CHarley Creme is right about 11th seed, I think he picked Lady Griz around 11th last year and thet were 13th. Lady Griz seem to be always seeded lower than these bracketologists do.

I qm going to miss this senior class more than any other senior class.

Go Lady Griz. You made us PROUD.
