I left early with the Griz up like 8 i think to miss traffic and catch most of men's game. My ride also had to get home to study for acct test.

I used to consider going to the Griz bb games as a study break. How do you leave a GRIZ game when it is still in doubt?

How do you maintain your sanity?

We were up like 7+ with like 4 left and I REALLY wanted to catch most of the guys game on the radio.

Had a lot of fun at the game tonight, had a few cold ones in the Sky Club, and watched the game from the comfy seats up there. This was the first game I've seen where the Ladies faced a true opponent (I saw a few non-conf blow out games) and boy did they battle.

- Mandy Morales continues to amaze me, you could tell she was playing through tremendous pain, blisters I would presume again, she'd be limping around when not on the court - but you'd hardly tell once she was in the game. I think she had 7 points in the OT.

- Sonya Rogers had an off-night behind the 3 point arc, hit a few but then tossed a couple short.

- Brittney Lohman & Johanna Closson had great nights as well, got into double digit scoring and had many key plays. Lohman balanced out 5 turnovers with 5 steals... And Laura Cote played some great defense, including a great blocked 3 point shot.

- Tamara Guardipee didn't get the right bounces 2nite, she was much more physical than either of PSU's centers but the ball would roll in and then out, or take a funny hop. She had a lot of opportunities to score b/c she was stronger underneath than PSU's players.

PSU is a heck of a team, they didn't play sound basketball in the 1st, lots of fouls, missed layups, ill-advised shots (mainly 3s), and turnovers. They settled down in the 2nd and showed that they really are a GOOD team. I'm not looking forward to having the Lady Griz play them again in their house. PSU is for real, in the 2nd they played very sound basketball and they really rely on mis-direction, screens and kick-out passes. At times they had their way with the zone defense, but would have troubles with traps and double teams.

Good game, great win.
