Lady Griz Vs. Idaho

No, I said they would have little to no impact. I stand by that.

And I said that the group, or some of them, and especially Murphy, would have had some positive impact. And I tied what I said to Murphy's last 3 games in which she averaged over 7 rebounds and about 9 points per game, for a D-I team. If you don't think those are good stats, then I don't know what to say to you. I know what I think about you and your "knowledge", though.

In Murphy's one season with the Lady Griz, she played in only 12 games and scored 13 points for the season, that's 1.1 ppg, and had 11 rebounds, less that 1 per game. Hard for any incoming coach to think she needed to be retained.

I call BS on your comment. Murphy was a frosh. This season, Polymeni has played in 6 games, scored 3 points and averages .5 per game. Kiefer has played in 7 games, scored 3 points and averages .4. Edit: they are each 1-5 in shooting. That's way less than Murphy. Under your thinking, any reason for the new coach to keep those two?

You all sound like a bunch bitchy old women. No offense meant ladies but the boys are struggling with their testosterone levels today. Must be the weather?
Anyway boys it’s time to check your manly appendages at the door and realize that your dialogue will not impact the ladies performance one way or another and time will tell if Brian was the right hire or not. Rome wasn’t built in a day and I for one like what I’m seeing on the floor. Turnovers, killers. 3 Pt. Shooting not up to snuff but watching the ladies vs the men (sorry Travis) is much more enjoyable to watch.
So in conclusion; don’t dish on individual players, the ladies are all playing to the best of their ability. The face of college athletics has changed significantly over the past decade and it’s a whole new dynamic. I feel our programs have not kept pace.

Hey, some of you, maybe not you, have continued to diss on the 6 cut last season. Still dissing on them. Why don't you police the people on your side?

Hey wmtladieshoops fan...........I missed Momberg's stats in Western's two games over the weekend. Did she light up the Helena team like she did at that one Griz camp game 5 years ago? Also, you can probably confirm, I hear Schweyen pours a mean...even if slightly warm......beer at the Mo Club!

Hey Mouse, did your son ever start a game in college hoops when he was playing non-D-I ball? You told me he was a bench warmer. I find it odd that someone who claims to have played frosh ball for the Griz, and had a son as a benchwarmer on a non-D-I team, would diss (some) Griz players and various non-D-I players. I guess that's the type of person you are.

Some comparisons, year to year. Last year, before the LG lost 3 in a row in conference, they were 9-5 and had won 5 in a row. Ended up 9-8 in conference.

LG are 9-7 now. LG have 2 tough home games and 2 road games to go. Both this year's and last year's team lost by 7 to a good Gonzaga team, this year in Missoula and last year in Missoula.

No matter how the LG finish this year, I don't expect them to lose in the first round of the tourney like last year. I also don't expect them to shoot 20-67 and 4-31 from 3 in the tourney, like they did in the tourney last year.

Again, I think the team this year has much better personnel than the team did last year.

mthoopsfan - I was enjoying some of your thoughts until the last comment. Dragging someone's son or daughter through the mud is uncalled for.

I'm not dragging anyone through the mud, especially his son. How is my statement dragging the kid through the mud? I just brought it up because Mouse continues to diss players, including Momberg. Edit: Has brought up Schweyan at the Mo Club twice in the past couple days Why don't you ask Mouse to not diss players?

To answer your question.....yes.

I'm not intending to diss any players. Just pointing out a few that probably should have never been recruited to play for the Lady Griz.

Griz didn't recruit me or my son. I didn't feel dissed at all; neither did he.

Why the new name this year?

Good observations. Hard to say how they're going to shoot in the tournament since they're up and down from game to game. Not sure the personnel are better, but maybe a little more experienced.

I watched Momberg multiple times during her Senior year of high school and never once believed she was a D1 player.

Where/why did you watch her multiple times in her senior year?

Mo Club doesn't have any Lady Griz players tending bar.

Mouse is a little man who is jealous of people who have been successful. He has dissed Momberg, the Schweyens scores of times. Sorry, but asking if his kid, whom Mouse told me was a benchwarmer in a non-D-I school, is not dissing he kid. Just a minor shot across the bow at someone who is dissing former LG players in this thread. Kids that weren't even being discussed. What was the reason for mentioning the Schweyens and the Mo Club, now a total of 3 times in this thread. Was that relevant to anything? And, I have actually complimented your kid on the board.

Mouse and Helena have done a good job of messing up a good discussion in this thread. Helena had to start with some name-calling too. That's how they roll. I've found in life and on the internet that a lot of people who haven't accomplished much, like to do that type of stuff as they hide behind a keyboard. If you two want to say your name on the board, so all can see, I'd be happy to say mine. I know that you already know mine. Let's let everyone see who you big talkers are. Helena is afraid to even say where he lives.

First, I never called anyone names. Second, you never asked me where I lived, and I wouldn't tell a guy with a checkered past anyhow.
