Lady Griz v. Rocky

This one was sleeper. LG were low energy and lackluster in the first half. Tied at 25 at half. LG played better in second half and pulled away right away. 54-38.

I hope they don't play like they did in the first half again, or they will lose every game. Rocky didn't seem to be very good.

Johnston played fairly well. 4 of the starters had 10, 10, 8 and 8. Stiles played well, had 9 and showed great quickness, speed and hustle. I like her play. 27 minutes. 4 steals.

That was not an easy game for the Lady Griz. Rocky was as tough as I expected, especially with the fact the game was tied at 25 at halftime.

They can't afford to start any of the conference games off slowly or they'll be in the bottom third of the conference again.

Watched Sentinel girls lose in 5 OT's to Bozeman High last night. Bozeman was 1 - 3 entering Sentinel's gym. Don't think any D1 recruits on the Bozeman roster.

Then Sentinel boys take it to Bozeman boys sporting a Griz recruit. Sentinel's Beighle (going to Carroll) won the battle of future college players in that one.

Not a good night for Griz recruits and Sentinel girls loss has to be a big surprise. 3 Lady Griz recruits (??)....and a Deden and Bingham also on the roster.
