Lady Griz UCSD

Griz are getting homered. Evidence in the box. Eleven fouls on Montana, 3 on UCSan Diego. Zero free throws for Montana, 7-10 for UCSD. At least three calls against Montana on SD flops.
I was just thinking yesterday that Montana's games (both men and women) in California this year were remarkably evenly officiated... Oh well...
 
Damn good start. Geez. Refs totally wrecked our flow. Now we double thinking everything, and forcing bad shots. Barely any free throws. Down 10 to start 4th.
 
This is the most bizarre and strangely officiated game I've seen in a long time. Carmen Gfeller just got called for a charge (her fifth foul) well within the low key arc... simply for posting up for a shot. Holsinger is flabberghasted.
 
If Gina Marxen had her normal game shooting, this wouldn't have been as close as it was but she did come through near the end.

MJ Bruno was perfect today. Going to get games like this, especially with the reffing, but it is great Lady Griz can win in those situations. Never gave up.
 
Bizarre game, but kudos to Montana for not giving in. Gina Marxen had the game winner, but M J Bruno's 23 points and solid D were key for the Griz in the second half.
As puzzling as so many calls were, the refs let the final minute play out with no whistles.

Actually, MJ Bruno wasn't quite perfect, missed a free throw.
