Lady GRIZ with a terrific comeback victory. Their composure, leadership, and confidence really impressed me. Selvig was terrific defensively. Hill is a fun player to watch and tough as nails at guard.

Horrible thought there that Hailey Mandelko is only a junior. Must be some pretty decent match-ups there in her being 5'8" and most probably a '2,' or 'shooting guard,' the same as Kellie Cole and perhaps McCalle Feller when she's in. If not mistaken.

Sorry about the broken link. Fixed it. Thought I double checked and proofread that twice over even. Yeah, O.K. But I'd thought I'd give some props for the other teams for showing up at least. Thanks for the game. But it's been a preplexing year for me when it comes to evaluating the LG's year so far.

One unsung hero seems to be one true freshmen Kayleigh Valley that has scored 19 points in the two games so far coming off the bench. A good supporting cast there. Torry Hill better watch out or she may just end up as the BSC Tournament MVP this year. She's added 39 points to her career total in the past two games and is now seventh in overall Career Assists at 433.

a star is born, kayleigh valley. a true freshman, great down the stretch. she really won this game for us. outstanding high school resume too. she and alycia sims, both true freshmen, hold great promise for the future of the lady griz program. and don't forget, shanae gilham returns next year, as a sophomore. needed now: an uber-quick point guard to run the show, cause our lady griz have a history of being...awfully slow.
