Ladies played to the level of the competition for much of the first half. That made for good entertainment from Selvig stomping up and down. The Sac State Band was getting on him, but Rob is into the game and probab;y didn't know there was a band 15 feet to his right.
The second half was textbook Lady Griz. They are a lot of fun to watch. Morales is smooth, her shots were not falling. but mandy really looks for her teamates before her shot, 13 assists could have been 20 if not for some missed bunnies. Rogers schooled the sac defender on more than one occaision. She must have grown up playing against boys because she knows how to get shots off when you think she has no chance. Lohman was not much of a factor because she got a couple cheap calls against her. Closson is tough on the glass and can score the ball. Cote is cat quick and very hard nosed. Sara Gale had a nice game. She probably starts at at least half the other BSC schools. Conway and Guardipee didn't get many minutes, Guardipee is a spaceater in the middle. I was real impressed with Lauren Beck. She can really handle the ball and plays great defense. You could see her confidence grow as the game progressed. I think she is going to be a real god player for the LG.
