Mandy Morales lead the Lady Griz with 23 points. One assist from having another double-double.

But, it was really Britney Lohman that won the game for the Lady Griz. Scored 21 points, 18 in the second half.

Mandy may be the most valuable player on this team, but Britney is the most improved player on the team. By next season, Britney could very well be the most valuable player on the team. Britney deserves to start and play over 30 minutes for this team right now. She did play 26 minutes today.

Finding a player to replaced from the starting line up would be hard though.

Dana Conway scored 0 points, turned the ball over 4 times, and only 3 rebounds. of course, if Dana was the one guarding Chadd, she did a good job holding their leading scorer to 9 points. Dana always liked playing defense the best.

Clossen scored 8 points, and had 12 rebounds.

Sonya Rogers played 29 minutes with no turnovers and no fouls (after fouling out previous game) scored 5 points, had a steal, 3 rebounds, and 3 assists.

Guardipee scored 8 points in 18 minutes. Really, not that bad. Maybe she will improve her conditioning so she can play more minutes, but lost minutes today because of play by Lohman. If there is any player that really needs to work on conditioning, it is Guardipee. Especially if she really desires to play more. I was thinking Lady Griz will have the starting lineup for two straight years. But, if Guardipee doesn't improve her conditioning, I predict Lohman could very well start in her place next year. Selvig is not going to change anybodies roles this year. Especially since they are doing so well.

I truly wish the best for Sara Gale. Fourth year in a row, caught being down on the depth chart again. First the twin towers, Holly and Crystal, now Tamara and Britney. Her playing time certainly has been affected by the play of both Guardipee and Lohman.

Anyway, Lady Griz won 71 - 53.

Not so good day for the Bobcats womens team, lost to PSU.

Root for NAU to beat Weber State tonight so that Lady Griz can take sole possession of first place where they belong. Irregardless of the WSU - NAU game, Lady Griz just need to win out and they host tournament.

NOw, off to watch the Griz beat Eagles. Must win.
