Lady Griz had great week and won their tourney

The Lady Griz played well, shot well, and were more consistent than they are sometimes. If the LG were awesome this weekend, McCalle Feller was awesomer. Must have been 2 of the best back-to-back games ever by a Lady Griz player.

32 points today; 34 yesterday.

11-16 shooting, and 7-9 from 3

13-22 shooting, and 5-11.

Combined 66 points; 24-38 shooting; 12-20 from 3.

The rest of the team played very well too.

I don't think I've ever been "wowed" by the performance of a Lady Griz like I was with McCalle this weekend. Her play at the end of the third period, especially the 30-footer at the buzzer was something I will always remember. Surely she will be BSC player-of-the-week. Think that 66 points was a Tourney record?

Almost as enjoyable as the Lady Griz dominating the tournament this weekend by shooting over 50%,was the thread on the message board that said there were no shooters on this team. I believe it was after the Seattle game. Come clean, I remember who some of you are. Currently McCalle Feller is looking like one of two best shooters ever wear a LG uniform with Kayleigh Valley following not too far behind if even that.

Its amazing how good the coaching looks when the same shots that rolled out before go down.
A recent research paper found that there is such a thing as a "hot streak" or a "cold streak" and that coaches (and economists) should account for them.

Can you show us the posts you referenced? I just skimmed the thread after the Seattle game, where the LG shot about 24%, and didn't notice any post saying the LG didn't have any shooters. Perhaps it was another thread. You obviously know where the posts are. Would like to see them.
