We lost that game to SUU because of coaching. If the coach is trying to win by out shooting the other team then leave Gabi and Abby in the game at least. Instead she leaves her freshman in who goes 1 for 10 from the three!!!

We have no dribble penetration.

Time for a new coach!!!

Damn criminal. Seriously inexcusable, Just crushes the morale of your players.

I could have called that a week ago. Would have happily bet on it. Something has been wrong with that team for a long time, beyond injuries. Kent will keep Shannon though and the same mediocre season will transpire again next year, unless all he players threaten to leave...again.

yep!!!! she has lost 8 girls who quit in her first two years, I have heard from an insider that at least two of next years potential starters are considering a transfer.

There's always 202...1?

Would love to be a fly on the wall during Shannon’s season recap interview with Kent. Probably the same as Stitt’s last one....”I just need time for my system”😮🤭🤣🤣

I think they need to give Shannan 1 more year to see what she can do. I think an athletic point in Sophia Stiles will help a lot next season. The Fatkin girl was the only player I saw who could beat anyone of the dribble that is a problem. They need to get a more athletic back court and I think they have the players to do that on the bench in street cloths. They just looked plain bad to me yesturday. The Lady Grizzlies got out hustled out played by a bad team. I have heard flu, injuries, etc. next season better go better for Shannan and company or it will be time to move on.

I find it strange that every year this team has injury issues with multiple players. Why is that? Is the conditioning not as good?

Would Rob come back for a few years?

For all the complaining about Shannon, her post-game said Harrington and Stockhom, had the flu and received IV's before the game and Stockhom had a head injury falling hard to the floor in the second quarter and did not return. Maybe she needs a little more slack from the experts on here.

Add to that list Gfeller who also was ill and didn't play. At one time we had a redshirt freshmen and 2 true freshmen on the floor at the same time along with a sophomore and a junior. Not many teams are going to win in that situation. Not meant to be an excuse but is also a contributing factor.

I am also in favor of one more year for Shannon given the adverse circumstances but will be a supporter whatever decision is made by those in the know and not made based on rumors and innuendos.

If two players had the flu (influenza) then they should not have been anywhere near the court. They would have been highly contagious if they were still that sick. Not to mention their own health would be at great risk. Their is no stomach flu or any other kind of flu - other than influenza. Sooo - either the damn athletic trainer allowed very sick players on the floor who were contagious Or the kids likely had a virus and they were not feeling well. I will cut SS slack for that game given the cards she was dealt. I can’t overlook many other instances where there was poor coaching and reports of locker room problems. That is on her. This is not a simple issue, but looking at the whole picture the Griz were not going to win the tourney or conference even if all the kids were healthy. She got out coached numerous times throughout the year and failed to adjust. You can’t wish that away. That pimple is red and swollen as hell folks.
