Lady Griz came back from a 12 point deficit with 12 minutes left to go in the game and won by 15 points today. NAU was really hot for most of the game, possibly due to lack of intensity by Lady Griz on defense and Lady Griz's poor shooting. But Lady Griz really stepped it up in last 10 minutes of the game.
With the win, the Lady Griz are now in a 3 way tie for first place in the conference.
Sac St womens team beat MSU bobcats in Bozeman today. Portland State beat the Weber State womens team in Ogden. Weber State just needs to win next week against ISU to host. But funny thing, I think Lady Griz will be at least second place with a first round bye.
