Lady Griz beat Deja Vu 72 - 54. Looks like a big win, but really, Deja Vu got tired at the end. It was a game up until 8 to 10 minutes left in the game. Julie Deming and Skyla Sisco played well scoring 17 points and 11 points, respectively. Julie Deming lead Deja Vu with 10 rebounds. Krista Pylon (Redpath) scored 9 points.

Lady Griz were lead by Johanna Clossen with 18 points, Guardipee with 13 points and 13 rebounds, and Katie Edwards with 11 points. Dana Conway scored 9 points.

Lady Griz did not shoot the ball well, especially in the first half. Only 23% in first half, but did shoot 48% in second half.

Johanna Clossen and Dana Conway were the stars of this game, especially in the second half. Guardipee did most of her damage in the first half, which kept the Lady Griz in the game up to that point.

Lady Griz look like they may be a pretty good free throw shooting team. Made 75% of their shots.

Overall, Lady Griz looked tentative, especially in first half. Also, did not play with a lot of patience. That will come as the season unfolds, and Lady Griz will get better.
Hopefully, with more playing time, they will get more comfortable and their roles will be sorted out. Selvig did say he wasn't comfortable with the roles yet of each player yet. Plus, Mandy Morales did not play today, and may not play until sometime early in december. But, this will allow Sonya Rogers and Mikela Schmitz to get plenty of playing time and point guard will have plenty of depth.

Games start to count from now. Go on the road to play Utah State next.
