Only lost by 13 points to the 10th ranked team in the country. Respectable. At least it wasn't as bad as the game against Vanderbuilt last year.
 
Thanks for the score...... you are right..... that is at least a decent outing against a first rate team and on a neutral court

CANCUN, Mexico -- Kristi Toliver scored 13 points to help Maryland (No. 14 ESPN/USA Today, No. 10 AP) beat Montana 71-58 on Thursday night in the Caribbean Challenge.

Marissa Coleman added 11 points, eight rebounds and seven assists for the Terrapins (5-1).

Mandy Morales scored 15 points to lead Montana (3-1). Lady Grizzlies coach Robin Selving won his 700th game in the opening round of the tournament on Wednesday when Montana beat Illinois 59-57 on Morales' jumper with 0.7 seconds left in overtime. Selving, who is 700-199 in 31 seasons at Montana, became the ninth Division I coach to reach the milestone.

The Terps will finish off their trip with a game against Illinois on Friday. Montana will play South Dakota State.

Not sure what game you listened to. The Lady Griz/Maryland game I listened to had the LG down 36-28 at the half. Please tell me what happenned in the second half on your broadcast. :thumb:
 
Pretty respectable loss, LG hung tight the whole game. This tough OOC is going to help them a bunch down the stretch.
 
Guardipee got 2 minutes. I was wondering if she would make it back this year (and whether she was on the trip).
 
For sure ReMax....playing stronger competition will always serve to improve your team overall play in time.
