Lady Griz 1 win away from Hosting

Lady Griz win 66 - 55 over Northern Colorado.

Mandy lead the girls with 16 points,
Lohman had 12 points, 9 rebounds, and 3 blocked shots.
Clossen and Rogers both had 11 points.

Lady Griz win eliminated ISU from hosting. PSU is the only team that is in contention to host. For PSU, they have to hope that EWU can beat Lady Griz. EWU is 1 - 12 in conference. It would be one of the hugest upsets of all time in the Big Sky if EWU beat Lady Griz. Lady Griz should win it and earn the host role.
 
Oops, there is 1 chance for ISU to host. Lady Griz lose out, ISU win out, PSU lose 2 of 3, MSU win out finishing ahead of PSU.

How do they pay for their sports programs? This seems to be the norm at UNC. 4000 for football and under 1000 for basketball.
 
I'm not holding out hope for the astronomical odds that the stars would align and ISU could host the tournament...all I'm asking is that we win out and you guys beat Portland State there a week from tomorrow night...so we can get the 2nd seed and a first-round bye.

ISU is officially out of contention with hosting the tournament.

EWU played PSU really tough. Missed a three pointer with 5 seconds left in the game to tie it. But, PSU won it.

Lady Griz could have a really tough game next thursday in their attempt to clinch hosting tournament.
