Ladies and Gentlemen, We have a bad football team!

I was at the game st Cheeny.Whatever makes you feel better, this team's performance today way sub-par!

"Cheney" . They gotta pretty good team over there. Won the national title a few years ago. Have one of the best WR trios in all of college football. Better than expected "D" play. Beat WSU...lost to defending 5 time national champ on the road in OT with a few big calls going against them.

Few huge plays by EWU against the Griz, Griz have chances but don't convert enough and EWU ends up with a relatively easy win on the scoreboard.

Sounds like sports to me....not some predetermined "we roll over for the Griz" for the rest of time.

Ask Beau Baldwin, Jerome Sauers and Tim Walsh if they think they beat a bad football team.

Good post and summary. UM need to catch the ball better, not make critical penalties, and find a way to stop a couple of those long passes. Then, it's a different ball game. But when the other teams makes their plays, and your team doesn't, the other team often wins.

All very true. BUT one other thing that several have noticed is beyond the plays, our team needed some improvement in just being a team. Despite the loss Sat. Everyone in our group made the same comment, that there was a better Griz on the field Sat that clearly had the respect of EWU (as well as EWU getting respect from the GRIZ) There is a big difference between respect, disdain, and swagger. For the first time in a long time I sasw a Griz team that respected not only their opponent but respected themselves and was truly enjoying the "game" When the plays star to come and they will, the change in attitude that has started to come will make these kids really understand what it is to be champions something that goes way beyond just "winners" That change of attitude is also what will make them winners on the road.

If you can't execute, you can't win. I'm glad we won't be making the playoffs because we'd just get embarrassed.
