Small crack (break) will get it set today. Cast will be put on. KVA wants a (player) cast put on so we will wait and see. Damn good tough kid. I am hoping he is able to play. Sounds like a long shot.
 
I'm not sure Kronk is a good comparison as KVA does not need to catch footballs. I bet Kronk took 5 weeks off because he was pretty much useless as a threat playing with a cast.

If KVA does not need surgery, what are his chances of playing with a soft cast and a few pain killers?

Everything with a grain of salt on the two-deep line ups. Thiebes subbed @ RG when DD was dinged against SDSU. Have we seen Lucas in for Henderson? Won't be surprised if KVA takes the field against UNDSU.
 
if he is in a type of cast that makes him unable to grab with a hand (jersey, etc) or catch a an INT (basically a club like cast you see players use), not sure he would be a better choice than a healthy Lebsock at the linebacker position

Yep, pure adrenaline kept KVA from realizing the initial severity of the injury.

That's what football players do, play through pain. Until they can't. God I miss those days! :lol: :thumb:
 
Saw him today. The cast appeared very bulky, which could indicate he will try to play but his arm was in a sling so that 2 deep could just be an attempt at misdirection.

The question not asked: is no. 1 KVA at under 90% better than the no. 2 Lebsock at 100%?
