KVA Injury?

Even if he did break it, would he really have a surgery scheduled for Monday already?

That's a good point. I'm not a medical doctor. My wife is. I asked her if someone could play a FB game with a broken arm that needed surgery. She didn't think it was possible. But she also buys things just because they are on sale. The mystery continues.

My wife would buy toxic waste if it was marked down 20% on an endcap.

That's an amazing coincidence. I too am married to a doctor. When I asked the same questions of her, she said there are varying degrees of breaks, like sales and it would be difficult to say what kind of pain someone, like credit cards, is able to withstand. Everyone, like bank accounts, has thresholds. She was hopeful that he would recover soon and that Nordstrom's private sale would be extended by a few hours Thursday evening. When I said "Costco", she held a finger to her mouth and said "shhhhhhhhhhhh".

Horse laugh!

Not to change the subject but I LOLed thinking of the other day my lady friend and I needed some stuff in the same store (which I had never been to before) and the checker kept telling me how much I saved when all I wanted to know was how much I owed. My lady friend end up "saving" a lot more money that I, and was proud of that fact....of course she spent more than I as well but that didn't matter.....because its all about how much you saved....uhmmmmm...while spending money.

Bummed about KVA. Curious to know some news but the way Stitt is, most of us may not know the real scoop till game day.

You absolutely can play after having surgery, depending on the type of fracture. Usually do not though for risks of swelling, infection etc. highly doubtful someone breaks an arm bad enough that needs surgery and plays. That's a different animal than a hand or something that you can "tape up". If it's just a crack in the bone, you can soft cast that and play. Either this is a huge troll, KVA is more a man than we ever imagined, or he hurt it after the game... :o

Also, was that shopping excursion to Kohl's? My wife always tells me how much she save every time she hits that place.

Ha! Why yes, yes it was (at Kohl's) I had never been there before but I will certainly be back. I saved a shit ton of money!!!

......oh wait......

@SkylineSportsMT: Montana senior LB Kendrick Van Ackeren broke his forearm against South Dakota State. He will have surgery. NDSU status unknown #BigSkyFB

Gamboa had a absolutely GREAT game yesterday. On KVA, Not sure about this. He seemed ok after the game. But who knows I guess.

Yeah, best game of the year for him.

So 420; please change your avatar back to something famously good. This latest choice is not. :grenade:

Well that just sucks balls for KVA.

Next man up. :thumb:

This is so weird, I saw him right in front doing the fight song holding his helmet in his left hand and high five's with his right, did not seem to be injured at that time. did not notice any extra wraps or banding on either arm??
His number is 35 right? is there another number 35 on the team? if he is hurt it would seem to be minor from what I saw anyway.

grizare#1, I saw the same thing you did. He was giving hugs with both arms and didn't appear to even be in any pain what soever. Then again, I'm no doctor, and I guess some dudes can have fun, and use their arm for things even when it's broken. I would have never guessed it would be bad enough he needed surgery though.

Thanks Havgrizfan, I was sure that's what I saw too. We sit in the upper level corner above the cannon so we have an excellent view of the fight song. Anyway I hope he is ok.

I heard it was fractured and just got worse after the game. Had a xray and saw the break. Is having it repaired and it will be put in a cast. I dont know if he plays...i would guess no. But it might be hard to keep him of the field. He wants to play and he wants to prove ndsu was no fluke

I don't blame him. I'd be in the same boat. My guess is he will be suited up Saturday, And if its lookin like the Griz need him in the 4th he will be stepping up to the plate.

I sure hope he is ok. He is one of the most inspiring players on the team. Would be great to have him out there, but would hate to have him further risk his health.

If he can't go it is reassuring to know that we've got Lebsock ready to go, who has done a great job in both the games he's started. It's as good of a backup as you can ask for.
