Kurt Schilling

Since announcing his retirment, I am going back and forth if he is a hall of famer or not?

Many determine HOFer by winning big games. By that standard, Schilling is one of the best of alltime.
Others determine it by certain career milestones, Schilling fell well short in many career categories.

I voted him as a HOFer. Thoughts, opinions, etc? For me it is somone that will make it in time, and does not have to be a 1st ballot HOFer.

No need to vote for me. He's a HOF player on the field yes. That's all that should matter. He may be a tool off the field but he had a helluva career.

I'm not sure about Kurt Schilling but I know Curt Shilling is a Hall of Famer.

If Schilling would've still been on three WS winning teams but had NOT been a Red Sox, the debate would be much more intense as to IF he's a HOF'er. Just like the teams rosters/budgets each year, any team from Boston, NY, or LA has a greater advantage, and being on the Sox for two of his WS rings probably pushes him into the HOF.
