Kudos to the O-Line

This offensive line is going to schooled next week. NDSU will have a sign up in their locker room reading "pressure, pressure, pressure." Good grief this has to be the most inexperienced offensive line we have had in years. That's just the facts. I mean getting better is one thing - playing with authority another.
Inexperience does not translate to incompetent...I would hope the UM staff says the same thing to the "inexperienced" players UM has...

They struggled against USD. Some of the worst pass protection I've seen. NDSU will probably get multiple sacks. JJ will not survive the season if the O-line doesn't pull their heads out of their ass.

Yeah, struggled. Gave up ZERO sacks, had over 200 yards rushing....averaged 5.2 yards per rush and 5 yards per PLAY for the game. You wanna bitch about something? Bitch about the kicking game. Bitch about the play calling. The performance of the O-line (for this game at least) was the LEAST of our problems.
That's because JJ is that good. Did you not see him running for his life most of the game?

He had to scramble periodically...but there were many plays where he was given enough time to let 30-40 yard routes develop. That shit doesn't happen by accident. Run blocking was 10x better this game, and JJ wasn't sacked once. Which couldn't be said for EITHER of our first two games....are they where they need to be? Certainly not. Are they getting better? Absolutely. They are currently AHEAD of where I expected them to be after 3 games, especially considering the LT yesterday was 3rd string 6 weeks ago.

Lets just put it this way, if SSH was starting he would of been sacked at least 5 times.

Goodness sakes, it's not about "if so and so played...." It's about who did play and the result. Hell, "if Carpenter were still playing we win by 17"...damn stupid statement isn't it?

Hell na. Proving my point the O-line is shitty and JJ is that good.
