A big Griz Thank You to Mara Hoefer, #33 for msu. She was the ONLY msu player who stayed on the floor while the Lady Griz accepted the trophy, and got their awards. She stayed and clapped for each player. Very class young lady!

Last year I looked for the Lady Griz after we lost in the semi's. I couldn't find a single LG player or coach in the stands for either the final game or for the awards. There weren't that many fans there so I think I would have spotted someone. I won't say that nobody from the team was there but I sure couldn't find them and I looked and looked.

For me, that makes #33's actions all the more impressive.

Whatever the reason, I was impressed by her.

and a nice comment from Coach Binford...

"We're really proud of Montana representing us in the NCAAs," Binford said. "Obviously we would have liked to have been that team, but I still feel like the Big Sky Conference is a difficult and competitive conference. We're going to support them next week."

You really have to hand it to Coach Binford turning the Bobcat Program around in such a short period of time. Also obviously a very Classy Lady with what she said in the paper!!!
