Cool, thanks GB.

Did Krysko ever start on a team for an extended period? I always thought he was one of those guys that coaches loved to have as a backup.

After he was drafted 28th overall in the 1986 NBA draft by the Chicago Bulls, his rights were traded twice before he landed with the San Antonio Spurs. He spent his rookie year with the Spurs and started the last 30 games of the season before being traded to Milwaukee in 1987. By 1989, the Bucks were a promising team with Krystkowiak averaging almost 13 points per game starting alongside All-Star forward Terry Cummings and veteran guard Sidney Moncrief. Krystkowiak notched career highs that year with 31 points against the Portland Trail Blazers in January and 18 rebounds against Chicago in February. There was talk that Milwaukee was set to offer him a lucrative contract extension at the end of the season. But, after an upset of the Atlanta Hawks in the first round of the playoffs, Krystkowiak suffered an extensive knee injury in game three of the conference semifinals.

That knee injury was a result of a cheapshot from Bill Laimbeer. I was watching that game and felt like crying when it happenned. To my knowledge Laimbeer has never apologized to Krysko.

I remember watching a Bucks / Lakers game in L.A. and Chick Hearn, the announcer for the Lakers games said, " I really like this Krsystowiak".

Larry always hustled, played hard, and gave his team good minutes.

He and Brad Lohaus also comprised the two-man Milwuakee Bucks team on Sega's NBA Jams game. I love Krysko, but they were easily the worst team on that game.

Grizbacker1, why do you put your comments inside other posters comments?

Cause video games are part of the world, whether you like it not

Why does alot of thread turn into griz/cat hate....?

Grizzbacker, I also seen that game with Krysko got hurt. He went around Lambier and Lambier cheap shoted him tearing up his knee. I am a huge Notre Dame fan but am ashamed he ever played for the Irish. He was one of the dirtiest players that ever played the game.

You are right about that. I can't stand Laimbeer, he should spell his name LAME
