Krysko, We Have a Problem

Kamarr is ineligible after this semester. He will be out of the line up until at least late January. Our inside game is now officially gone. We have got to go to our guards to get our points now. This San Francisco game, Coach has got to take the team he has and win with it. I hope he realizes sooner than later where our offense is going to have to come from.

Is this a situation like last year where they will be able to get eligible through intercession??

Or is he totally done when school starts???

Don't know about Chavez.

Kamarr can regain eligibility if he passes winter courses (like Booker and Mansell have done). I'm really starting to question recruiting JC's.

I will temporarily stick my foot in my mouth though. Seyfert already has 9 points after 12 minutes tonight. Maybe when he's told he has to score he can get it done.

Was I wrong or was Davis in academic trouble last year along with Booker and Mansell. I thought he was...

I am sure that the UM wont fail him out and allow him to either make up some courses or he will take some cake classes over the break to get the GPA up

Davis didn't have to sit out any games last year. If I remember right only Booker had academic problems last year. Mansell had academic problems the year before last year. The Griz are going to be hurting without Davis. I hope he can get his GPA up so he can come back soon.

San Fran dominates the game and Krysko didn't sound too suprised. It sounded like this might have been the most athletic team we've faced thus far. Seyfert stepped up scoring 20, but Krysko said he owed 12 of them to Farr after dishes for dunks. Criswell struggled from the field (1-9) only scoring 2 points. That's a little rough. I need that kid to back up my talk dammit!

Hopefully we get through the road trip without too much confidence-loss. We need those guys to be ready to go after Xmas break. Same goes for the ladies after a tough loss to Miami tonight.

Oh yeah, side note:

Krysko definitely dodged the question about why Kamarr was out, stating it was an internal issue that will be spelled out for the public in the near future. So we probably shouldn't be spreading the ineligible talk around too much if Krysko didn't want to talk about it.

I thought Krysco said Davis would be practicing with the team. I didn't think that was allowed if academic ineligibility is the problem. I hope Kamarr gets back soon. This team will have trouble being successful in league without him. I'm real happy Jon S had a good game and hope he has found something (in addition to feeds inside from Farr) that will lead to consistent productive efforts.

Davis will be practicing with the team. As Krysko said, it is an internal problem and may not be academic at all, though it could be. Not sure there is any rule that a player can't practice when academic ineligible.
