B.S. Maybe the Big Human can still come up and watch in the stands and then be interviewed by AD Kent Haslam and Alpha (aka the hiring committee).

Idaho State suspends football coach Kramer

Pocatello, ID (Sports Network) - Idaho State suspended head football coach Mike Kramer for one game Tuesday and issued a letter of reprimand for his violation of the Big Sky Conference university's conduct policy.

The second-year coach will miss Saturday's game at Montana, ISU director of athletics Jeff Tingey said. Associate head coach Don Bailey will serve as the team's acting coach in the game.

"Following a thorough investigation, Coach Kramer will serve a one-game suspension for this Saturday's game at Montana," Tingey said.

The suspension comes as Pocatello and campus police continue to investigate an Oct. 3 practice incident in which Kramer is accused of shoving senior wide receiver Derek Graves to the turf.

ESPN's "Outside the Lines" program recently aired video footage of the incident in which Kramer apparently ran across the ISU field and pushed Graves to the ground by shoving him in the chest.

The program said Graves filed a police report and hired an attorney. Graves added he has suffered from neck spasms since the incident.

Kramer is a longtime Big Sky coach who has had successful yet controversial stints at Eastern Washington and Montana State. In 1995, an Eastern Washington player accused Kramer of slapping him, although no charges were brought against the coach.

Kramer was fired at Montana State in 2007 after five former players were arrested within a year's time, the final straw being a former player caught selling drugs. Kramer filed a lawsuit against the university, claiming he was sent packing without cause and that the school libeled and slandered him, and later settled the case with neither side admitting fault.

Sorry, did not see that and had no idea Kramer was called Big Human.

Mods delete this if you wish

Damn rookie. ;)

Don't worry about starting another thread on the same topic. Search taser, JJ or Engstrom

If the player gets neck spasms being pushed to the turf, what the hell is he doing playing football? Try out for the cross-country team dude.

Will Graves be too "injured" to play on Saturday? I suppose he may have to fake injury to keep his legal complaints alive. If he plays, I suspect he will get a "good" welcome in Griz stadium.

I wish the Big Human was going to be on the sideline. I sorta like him. We spotted Kramer at a restaurant years ago at Big Sky. I pointed him out to my son, who was 6 or so. He walked over to Kramer's table, and waited for Kramer to finish his conversation. Kramer stood up, shook my son's hand, and invited him to sit at the table. They talked for almost 10 minutes. When my son came back to our table, we asked him what they talked about. My son said Kramer said he was going to send him a scholarship.

Yup, Kramer is a good guy on a personal level. Met him twice. His daughter graduated
the same year as my son and he had guy tears like the rest of us.
So now the Griz go against " Bubble screen Bailey". He made us cats crazy with his
play calling. Count on him to run between the tackles on 3rd and long. This is
one guy even Mick can beat. Prediction:: Kramer will be glad he stayed home!

I liked what Kramer did for the Bobcats, he did a lot to help turn their program around before Ash completed the mission. The intensity of him and his team was impressive to watch. I may get some crap from Griz fans but I always rooted for the Cats to do well as long as it wasn't against the Griz. The Kramer firing for some coaches, players and former players misconduct ticked me off but I would be surprised if he remains at ISU. I haven't seen the push but that receiver sounds like a P*$$!!!

My favorite Cat player that Kramer had that I wish the Griz could have gotten was Kane Ioane (sp?). I will miss seeing his big head roaming the visitor sidelines.

He'll be in Missoula in a couple weeks, He's LB coach for the Cats. Maybe we could trade Kane
for Dan Moore before the game starts?

Nah, I'll keep Dan Moore..don't know if Kane can tackle at the pace he did 8-10 years ago. The big head I was referring to was Kramer not Kane of course.
