KoolMoeDee is apparently saying that MSU "backed out" of accepting a WAC offer in 2010. Does anyone believe that? Anyone have information on MSU's discussions with the WAC, offer, and backing out? See the quote below that KMD apparently believes is true. Discuss.

"Indeed, the first warning sign occurred on the very day of the announcement, when then-commissioner Karl Benson revealed during a press teleconference, ... that he had hoped to announce Montana and Montana State joining the league on the same day that Denver, Texas State, and Texas-San Antonio did, but the Montana schools had backed out at the last minute."

Were the Regents on the verge of approving MSU's acceptance of a bid from the WAC? I sure wasn't aware of that.

Where/when did I start a thread stating I didn't have inside info on the topic? I have had very good information on the move-up/WAC subject since it was occurring. My credibility quotient on this topic is close to 100%.
