Kool-Aid here...who's thirsty?

The Griz have to figure out how to perform to their capabilities on the road for 2016 to be a successful season. All the tough games are on the road. In spite of his salesmanship, I've heard nothing from Stitt that addresses this issue beyond team unity, one team, now that TG is gone. There needs to be more than that to change our road performance. Maybe they just play above their capabilities at home and regress back to set point on the road....

Careful, objectivity is frowned upon on this board.

I can't let the fact Atlanta stated we would be better in 2017. Of course I have been yelling that at my hound dog after last season. Serious, I think we could be good this season for the following reasons. Stitt told me Gus is better this year and told me the reasons Gus was wild as a Eastern Montana wind last season. Next he mentioned the O line is far improved over last season. Next he stated the defense although brand new would be performing very well by game three. So... I think we could have a great 2016 season ala Kool-Aid.

Did he mention accuracy at all?

Their struggles on the road predate Stitt by quite a few years

Yes they do. But we're talking about the challenges of 2016 and the difficult road schedule. If Stitt wants a good second season as UM HC, he needs a solution. You have to be good to win on the road; it will depend on whether we are.

Correct, since Hauck left...... and until Stitt proves he can win on the road, he is in the same category as Delaney.

For a poster who says they are objective, your comment about losing on the road has been more typical since the departure of Bobby Hauck, is most decidedly unobjective. My facts here may be off a few wins or losses, but since 1986 the Griz are 185-28 at WGS, and 108-69 on the road. In the playoffs (all appearances) UM is 31-7 at home and 3-15 away from Missoula.
We have not been all that dang good on the road during our Golden Age...I will grant you however, a trend that seems to have started since Hauck is what I personally have dubbed, California Daydreaming, as the Griz have had their butts handed to them in some trips to the Golden state. Yes, winning on the road is a challenge, but so called great programs will do so at a better rate than 108-69. I love the Griz, but I wince everytime we play away from WGS. I am hoping Stitt changes this in his tenure.
