Ostmo is probably leading the FCS in YPC. Sucks he’s only been healthy long enough to have 1 carry. Joking aside…I hope at least Nick can be back for these last 2 games. I’ve seen other posters on here state we won’t see Knight until spring.

After SUU in the presser bobby specially said Ostmo only had five carries. I think beyond games played there are stipulations for medical redshirting based on snaps played. So I don't think the SUU game counts for him. My thought is they will play him in full games once he can maintain his redshirt. I closely watched all his plays during the SUU game and he did not seem to have reinjured his ankle.

I closely watched all his plays during the SUU game and he did not seem to have reinjured his ankle.

He was the last one off the field at half time in the SUU game and he was limping pretty bad.

I re-watched the SUU game looking specifically for Ostmo during and after each play and I couldn't see anything to make me believe he re-injured himself. Maybe he did and I missed it; would be a shame if he is injured again.

Saw Knight not long ago. Appears to be noticeably bigger than he was last time he was playing. Good work!

He was listed at 218 in the spring when he got hurt. Have to hope that beween the weight gain and the injury that he hasn't lost that great burst he had. Kid has a great eye for the end zone.

Had the radio going with the TV. I swear I recall Riley saying Ostmo got dinged up again

Bobby commented on Riley's radio show that Ostmo's injury was the same part of the body but a different injury. I too rewatched the SUU game to try to see where Ostmo could have gotten injured, but he appeared fine in the 5 plays that he was in.

Ostmo got hurt on the play were the ball hit Flowers in the back field for the turnover. If you watch the play when the SUU player grabbed the ball and went down his forward motion kind of leg whipped into Ostmo's ankle area. It did not look bad as he walked off the field but he never came back after that.
