When NAU ran the unbalanced line with three tight ends next to the tackle and a receiver on the outside and our D-end and JP lined up over the frickin tackle. We make no adjustment and Bauman runs for 40 yards and a touchdown.
For crying out loud that was the exact same play that they ran for a touchdown last year in Missoula. How do you not have an adjustment if they come out in that formation when they ran it the prior year and it was on the film. At the very least someone should have called a frickin time out.
And how many times did they line up with Bauman to the right side of the QB and fake the run to the left and the QB runs a bootleg to the right. Like 10 or 15 times during the game. Every single time our D end on that side crashes down to the inside and loses contain on the edge leaving the QB either plenty of time to throw or an open lane to run. Make a frickin adjustment.
