kittens vs Ducks

Demoralization is the loss of spirit, hope, courage, or confidence, leaving a person or group disheartened, helpless, and unable to cope. It can stem from perceived threats to one's values or the breakdown of meaningful standards, leading to a sense of meaninglessness and despair. While not a formal diagnosis like depression, demoralization is a significant psychological syndrome characterized by hopelessness and a struggle to make sense of one's circumstances.

This what Cats are feeling right now.

The Shi__y Kitties 😸 should hopefully fall somewhere between # 5 and 10 after today's Autzen slaughter, and we could actually move up maybe a spot without playing a game depending on what else happened in the Top 10.

The SK's play # 3 South Dakota State next week in their litter box--the problem with South Dakota State is how good are they. The e-light SK radio crew, that was desperately trying to find something positive to discuss during today's destruction of their team so they were describing the tremendous view they had in their press booth at the top if Autzen Stadium and exciting new construction on The University of Oregon campus, also said SDSU lost 16 players that followed Coach Rogers to WAZZU.

So how good are the Jackeabbits, if true. The SK's could throttle them, but they could both still suck or be so-so. What I am trying to say is it make take about a month to determine who really are the Top 10 FCS teams at the start of the season, hopefully including us !!!

Go GRIZ. !!!

That was an ass kicking. But I don’t think Griz fans should read too much into it. Oregon is really good. Top 5 in my opinion. Really good coach and super talented. I think after last years tight game with Idaho and their earlier than hoped exit from playoffs they came into this game very motivated. I don’t think this game gave us much indication good or bad where the Cats will be. Not a fair barometer in my opinion.

Next week they have S Dakota State at Home... Real questions will be answered

To be fair nobody in the FCS is going to compete against a top 5 Oregon team better than this. Right?

Seem to remember a Griz team going to Autzen and holding Justin Herbert and the ducks to 35. Yeah we only scored 3, but we at least put up a damn fight with around 250 yards of offense, 12 first downs, 1 turnover. We did have 7 penalties for 79 yards though.

The ducks finished that year as #5 in the polls, PAC-12 champs and won the Rose Bowl against Wisconsin. Teams such Colorado, Washington,Washington State,USC, and Utah gave up as many points as the Griz and the ducks beat Arizona 34-6.

And we all remember 2021. Them’s just the facts kitty cats.
This years Oregon team makes that team with Herbert look like a mountain west team talent wise. Their talent profile is in a truly elite level now. They essentially let their starters play one drive into the 3rd quarter, so their backups still kept it rolling. They didn’t punt, or have a negative play all day. Scored on every drive except when they took victory formation. Really impressive, even against an inferior opponent. Clinical.

Tend to mostly agree, Rico, but also I do think 🤔 Brown Bear makes a strong, salient point: O negative plays for Oregon !!!

I do agree that after last year's close opening game with Idaho and the bitter taste still in their mouths from losing to Ohio State in last year's playoffs, there was no way In hell Oregon was looking past The Shi__y Kitties 😸, still the only two SK players that impressed me was their new QB Lamson and their slot WR Taco Dowler, from here in Billings--West High.

I think with all of the graduations @ NDSU and the graduations and transfers out of both MSU and SDSU and after Tarelton's upset over Army, it's gonna take a month or so to know who our Top 10 FCS teams are at the beginning of 2025 regular season that are going to be in that Top 10 all or most if the season. While I am obviously very biased, I think 🤔 MSU at best is a. # 5-10 team, they just lost too much to graduation and through the portal plus I think they're leaving Eugene pretty beat up !!!

The next 4 weeks, including our games against North Dakota and Idaho, SDSU-MSU, and a few other pivotal FCS games should tell us a lot !!!
