After I supported the coaches and team early in the season and through the NAU game, consistently said the team had very good potential and it was one game at a time, helped walked Griz fans back away from the ledge, and essentially saved the season (ha), you think my "return" is going to jinx the "us" now? Heck, I'm one of the few who didn't have to return. Most of you are the ones who returned.

Bobby says that o-lineman, including UM o-lineman, are very much in demand. Earlier this season, he said UM's top 8 or so o-linemen, if still eligible, would have a bunch of offers on day 1 if they went to the Portal. My guess is that this is what is happening at MSU. Not the o-line coach. They have some good o-lineman, who have just decided to look for bigger and better schools and offers, and probably some NIL money. Other MSU lineman moved on last year, or in prior years.

Times have changed. More kids play for themselves, and not their team, teammates, school and friends. I don't get it, but to each his own. I would never have left my school, teammates, and friends, even if I was a benchwarmer. I wouldn't have done it for NIL money either. My school and friends (including the girls we all knew) would have been way more important.

I don't think the Griz will have big Portal problems after this season, but I guess we'll see. To me, the Portal exits at MSU show that their program is not as strong as UM's.

I don’t get it either…unless I already had an offer “in hand”, I don’t think I’d leave either, and it’d have to be pretty sweet. Jumping from college to college would not be for me…

Most of them do have offers in hand because the portal and NiL works nothing like it’s supposed too.

Word on the street was NDSU had 4-5 guys leaving that already had 6 figure NIL deals on the table. College football is a mess

Nil/transfer portal is hitting college football hard even at the p5 level not just fcs.

Off the top of my head here are just a few oregon state beavers top two qbs' have entered the portal, wsu cougar starting qb. Entered, ucla bruins 5 star part time starter entered after one year, Ohio state buckeye starting qb. Entered portal this week, Kansas state wildcat multi year starter jumped into the portal.

It's happening to some of the best teams..no one is immune to it.
