Did they really?

oh yeah! It was a great game. Sorry if you missed it.

Outside of a single 80 yard play I’d disagree… look at the drive chart you’ll note multiple 2-3-4 yard drives ending in points for UM due to our poor ST and inept offense at the time.

I watched it, but I wouldn't say the Griz offense "put the boots" to the Cats.

You are correct. The Griz offense played decent that game, but they had great field position due to special teams and defense. In general, the offense was stale, ineffective and did not utilize many of the weapons the Griz had. This was the entire season, not just one or two games. Yes, I believe Knight’s absence was part of the problem and having an injured QB for part of the season hurt as well. I continue to believe something needs to change and hopefully it will.

Well… 0-0, who makes the right adjustments after the half? Play action burning both teams.. injuries suck that’s for sure. It’s showing on defense.

Bobby better spend the next 9 months figuring how to to this guy

Unless TM changes his style of play he’ll never complete an entire season (see also Troy Andersen and Dalton Sneed).

Give him an off-season, spring ball. Fall camp and a few early season games and I bet his style changes to limit his direct hits. But...his scramble/run threat will still be a thorn in everyone's side. Other than the "late hit" he just is too fast and shifty to take many big hits. They are doing this without their #1 back and #2 back, this kid is not a typical QB running .

Gotta like the refs actually calling penalties, that's sure nice to see for a change...

What happened to the rule about the pa guy being neutral in the playoffs? That 3rd down thing this guy does is horrible.

I think they relaxed it a little a few years ago. Peter Christian has been doing the full first down Montana chant for the last couple years, too.
