more than one, of course, but here's the biggest: will cherry plays like a senior, not a freshman, and does not get into early foul trouble. he'll be defending perhaps the fastest quickest point guard he's seen this year, and he needs to adjust without picking up early fouls. our bench cannot cope with new mexico's athleticism.

absolutely!!!! griz are a poor man's ohio state. 4 strong with nothin else. need that 4 to come up huge...

New Mexico is due lots of props, they are a very talented team. They won 29 games, in a conference that sent a conf record 4 teams to the big dance, even though they don't have a player taller than 6'8". They are ranked in the top 10, higher than Montana has or will EVER be ranked. UM has their work CUT OUT for them. :shock:

Having said all that, UM can win this game, IF they come out with their hair on fire and play on their toes and not their heels. Their only shot is take it to them or they will be run out of the gym. Will a confident strong Griz team show up or will they be wearing skirts? Our 7'0" and 6'11" players better be owning the glass...New Mexico doesn't shoot a high percentage from the floor, 3pt line, or free throw line, so we need to REBOUND. Players other than Johnson need to step it up, here's a quote that shows Montana is a one man team...: "Just the Johnson kid," New Mexico coach Steve Alford told the Associated Press when asked what he knows about the Griz. San Diego State delt New Mexico 2 of their 4 lossess, and SDSU had a couple big players that gave New Mexico trouble, will Montana's bigs give New Mexico trouble?

San Diego States bigs are some of if not the most athletic bigs in the country... FAR FAR comparison to SDSU's bigs vs the UM bigs... UM bigs are more along the line of the CSU and Utah bigs... We swept both of the this year and won the battle of the boards in all 4 of those games..

Even the SDSU loss we only got outrebounded by 2
