The problem is not Haslam, it's eGriz. And the media.

He has no experience with torture. Wait, the present selection process may qualify.Griz1 said:I don't know why people are down on Kent. Where has he ever indicated who would be the next head coach? Where did he ever say it would be anytime other than hopefully just before Christmas when he made the announcement? Most of the speculation has been on this board. I personally think it is kind of funny that the Missoulian comes out with Stitt as head coach and almost instantly are forced to retract the story. Not atypical of their credibility. Kent will get this done and will do it right. That we are not involved is just fine with me. Would I like to know more? You bet! I am as guilty as the next guy hoping for some inside information on this hire and keep searching this site and many other with no answers other than speculation.
If our government, military and spy agencies could keep inside information as quiet as this and stop all the sources of leaks that they have the media outlets would have nothing to write about to force their own agenda on us. What a great thought that would be!!! Maybe we need a campaign KENT FOR SECRETARY OF DEFENSE or KENT FOR CIA DIRECTOR.
do you have any facts to support your premise, how about A fact? or are you just going to engage in name calling? if thats all you got thats good with me. I can go there too.Sam A. Many of you are just mad at him the way my son gets mad at me when I won't let him open his Christmas presents early. I for one hope he takes the time he needs to make the right choice and doesn't fold under the pressure of obsessive fans to rush a decision. You'll get your damn present and life will be OK...

Polar bears and KH's job performance are unrelated facts. Before I go upstairs and clean my room you need to butter your ass for the reaming you are going to get when mom gets home.Sam A. Polar bears are white. There's a fact. Probably the most accurate fact that has been posted on here about KH and the coaching search. Now, go up stairs and clean your room...

tnt said:Whats humorous to me is the same guys screaming Haslam is incompetent, is taking too much time, etc etc... Are the some guys screaming we need an experienced successful coach from the FCS or FBS. Has it occurred to these geniuses that the successful experienced FBS and FCS coaches are still involved with an active season. You know, deep play off runs bowl games things that successful coaches can do after the losers hang it up for the season.
I suppose a coach could bail on their team or announce they are leaving at this point. Not sure we want one that did, but its possible.........

-- Beau Baldwin situation
-- Brent Peace, non rescheduling because of fog issue
-- Not getting back to interested coaches
-- Bobby Hauck, was he ever truly a candidate from school's perspective
-- the Bob Stitt mess, what a national embarrassment, unfortunately the AD is the one in news this morning, denying the story.
