Kennesaw @ SHS

After watching all the playoff games I believe the Big Sky is tougher than many thought. The best of the Sky can play with the top teams except NDSU. They have looked very tough the past couple of weekends and will win it all in my opinion..

Crazy run for K State. It will be fun to watch their progression going forward.

As noted above, Sam Houston does what Sam Houston has done for years.

SHS has my support for the rest of the playoffs, however long that is for them.

Kennesaw State campus is much nicer than Georgia State and the academics are much better. Georgia State screwed up by hiring Curry to start the program whereas KSU used Dooley and Bohannon for their start-up. Won't be I-AA long.

Have to agree

I do not see much "move up" discussion over there right now. However, when they first started the football program, they talked a lot about "branding." They'll soon learn (and perhaps already knew) that, no matter how much success they have in FCS, a football "brand" at that level is just not that valuable. Especially located among so many SEC and other FBS programs.

I suspect that somewhere behind the scenes, somebody has a plan to move all the way up.

Talent and balance in all three phases of the game makes all the difference in the world. It's always fun to watch the careers of people who didn't get that talent level or were not able to instill the necessary work ethic that it takes to be successful in kids move to a different school and watch them succeed. Cliff and Kramer both mentored a lot of kids who had (and are having) pretty successful careers all across the football landscape.

Both programs have a tremendous amount of Georgia athletes on them. Kennesaw States academics or not better than Georgia State. Georgia State has turned Turner Field into a great football venue and new facilities are top notch. KSU will not be FCS long...

Well it's not looking good for Kennesaw. SHS doing what they have been doing for years pretty effortlessly but you do realize Cants are gonna be pre season champs regardless of the outcome of there opponents record.

They always find a way.

Was it Chote that said this? Read an article somewhere recently that Cants have three losing seasons and they are happy as pigs in the shit pond. We have three winning seasons and sack our head coach.

Their standards are a bit lower at state. Bless their hearts.
