LadyGriz Kennedy Moore: Wake Forest -> The Portal

UM and MSU both passed on her. Maybe the knee issues scared them off. Montana Tech actively recruited her and she really liked the coach but chose a bigger opportunity with WF. I hope Harris aims higher.

My understanding of the revenue sharing model is that schools have the freedom to decide how they want to allocate that money, and that there is no requirement that everyone gets a share. If a school wanted to pay all their money to recruit or retain a few star players on the football team, they could do that. Or, they could distribute it around and give everyone a small share of the total pot.

I recommend waiting until the portal is open and we can get a good look at what is out there to choose from. A lot can change in a weeks time in regard to who's deciding to transfer. I'm not saying Moore isn't a good player, I just think we can find better.

I think she’d have seats filled at the very least. Cheering for the kids from montana makes going to those game much more worth while imo. Especially if adding her doesn’t detract from anything.

If she is no better than Wacker, than I guess what you said doesn't make sense.

Thanks for the info. I don't know enough about revenue sharing or how it will interplay with Title IX to pontificate. I just thought the athletic departments would have to give some money to each team, even if not equally.

Depends on the school and how much revenue/NIL they can raise, most schools are only paying football, WBB and MBB, some schools are paying women volleyball players and some schools are paying women soccer players a monthly or yearly stipend.

True for now, their a few Title 9 lawsuits that were filled by women volleyball and soccer players from P4 schools that are being heard now that directly is challenging how revenue is shared.

The portal opens next week, so far there have been over 500 WBB players have posted that they intend to enter the portal so their agents could start talking with coaches, the Griz WBB have revenue sharing this season, why rush, aim high. I'm also surprised the MBB already offered a D2 player already, there are over 900 d! MBB going into the portal.
