You are all missing the point anyway, he could still say he is personally doing these, and then have a student intern help him make them so they don't look like shit.

My wife who does not follow any sports related social media at all because she really doesn’t care much about sports. She follows BK now simply just for his funny personal graphics. She even brought up a recruit that she saw from one of BKs graphics. She has literally never mentioned a recruit to me before.

That is exactly the type of shit everyone was wanting and acknowledged the Griz were losing to the cats in state on.

What wasn't fine about my post you snowflake? Hypocrites like yourself and the moron who started this thread say and I quote " every individual person is going to provide different opinions that's what's beautiful about the world and this forum, is that we each get to do that.". I hardly every say anything negative on this site, but this whole thread which was started is the dumbest shit I've ever seen and heard someone say on here and I'm calling it out. What type of asshole fan criticizes our new HC about his recruiting graphics? The type of person who does this is an asshole. We have a 1st year HC going above and beyond on social media to make recruits feel welcomed and wanted to our program and we have people complaining about his graphics and continuing to just bitch and complain about it. Not to mention ALL the players love it and love the attention BK is giving them. I'm sick and tired of fans like the person who started this thread who bitch and moan about this type of shit and I'm going to start calling it out. I honestly don't care if you don't like what I have to say and how I say it, block me. But we have a bunch of idiots who continue to post this type of nonsense and complain about a problem that doesn't exist. And I'm going to start calling it out.

I’m apparently a snowflake, and you are the guy that got so riled up by the OP that you went off the rails. Why didn’t you just say the OP was an overreaction and a ridiculous thing to judge a football coach for? See, that isn’t so hard. This is hilarious and definitely ends up in the "so bad it's good" zone for me. In an era of ironic detachment and AI slop, the unapologetic sincerity stands out.

You know, I thought the same thing most people did when I saw the graphics. Then I listened to his interview on the GFP. The man takes time out of his life to make the graphics himself.

There isn't some faceless graphics/media production Army behind him. They are personal, and he is using time he will never get back to make them for the players. That's just a cool thing to do.

They are personal in an age where everything seems pretty much impersonal.

Are they cheesy? hell yes.

I think as a parent and grandparent that I like the idea that the head coach, a man who is spinning a dozen plates at once, spends 15-20 minutes making that cheesy ass graphic instead of using AI.

I have read the posts from people saying it's amateurish. Yeah, he's not a professional graphic artist.

He could hire someone or engage students to make state of the art graphics, and that takes out the entire purpose of them being personal.

"It could cost us recruits'. NOBODY is going to make a recruiting decision based on a graphic. What they WILL make a recruiting decision based on is how attentive the coach(s) are to them. That's just me, but to me, personal attention means something. My son received a lot of letters from coaches when he was being recruited. I can tell you the ones that had the most impact were the hand written ones. Anyone can form print a letter. That might sound stupid to a lot of people, but it's part of the reason he ended up going with UConn, and the fact they had a Dentistry school.

Good post which I don't say often on EGRIZZLY. The only thing I do not agree with is that I never though they were terrible. Young people like cheese. It's one of their favorites.
