The head coach of a D1 football program is personally making a graphic just for YOU, a recruit, and not passing it off to someone in the media team to rubber stamp an AI generated image that's the same as everyone else in your recruiting class is getting.

Somehow people think that's a bad thing, and not something the recruits really appreciate, especially given that the previous regime would hardly send anything at all.

No I don't want him using ai fucking either, I sent being a long message today about my thoughts on any ai usage in creative spaces. I like what he's doing I just think he could easily work on this project with any media arts student and have a thousand times better graphic and you're interacting with the student body, that gets kids in seats at the game.

You're missing the point. He's not making the graphics for the student body or us as fans.

The quality of the graphic is secondary to the fact that the head coach is putting the time in himself to make it for a recruit. That's pretty rare in D1 college football these days. The media arts team making them for him defeats the whole point.

He access to every grizzly asset. My 8 year old niece could make a better graphic than that in less time. I just think if he was putting time into it would look at least decent, right now it looks like it made in Snapchat.

I work on drawing comics everyday. If you think that looks stupid at least explain why? I can tell you exactly why his is a bullshit graphic, because if he put any effort into it besides clip art it wouldn't look like shit.

NO I understand your guys point of its, nice that a head coach did that. You guys are missing the point that it's not nice to get a shit ass graphic compared to getting a nice one. Or that these kids are just posting them because they don't want to sever relationships.

Well thats a little different than your original post. You said they look like shit and he’s making a huge mistake. That’s different than he could do a better job. Of course he could do a better job. But I think for this, it’s the thought that counts.

I thought objectively everyone would be able to agree that yes they do look shit. My original response was a little aggressive, I agree. I just want our program to be the pillar, I want the team to be the best and yes that means in every way. But thinking about it, it is really nice that he is doing it like yes it's above and beyond, that doesn't mean he can't learn from the shit ones. And yeah it is a little bit of projection but that's because I can literally put myself in the shoes of a college athlete being recruited on twitter because not than along ago I was, is it a completely fair sentiment, no. Obviously every individual person is going to provide different opinions that's what's beautiful about the world and this forum, is that we each get to do that.
