Tori was a scorer when she played for the Copperheads but they had so many offensive weapons, she should had more open looks. Even though she's made some big baskets for us, she's not aggressive enough and does not handle the ball well enough to make things happen at point. She's content to stay on the perimeter. Tori's shot is flat with no trajectory and is defendable against a quick man defense. If she was paired with Cole at point her offensive strength could be maximized.
Players like Katie Baker and to a lesser degree Sullivan have to find their own open looks. The former has a nice jumper and decent hops but always has hand in her face which doesn't make for offensive consistency.
Sullivan has really lost her confidence in what looking like a stellar Lady Griz career.
Thus against a tough man d she can't get a shot off.
That's where Cole comes in. She aggressive and has basically no fear anywhere on the court and would make an excellent point guard. Your turn. Go Lady Griz
I can't disagree with any of your points. Sometimes Tori looks like she actually fliches when a more agressive player comes at her. About once a game tho, she tosses up one of those running flat hooks that I never think have a chance, and to my surprise they go in.
Pre-season last year I thought Carly Selvig looked the better of the two neices. After her redshirt year she is really struggling except for some nice blocks. When I look at her this year, I have to wonder if any other BSC school would have offerred her a scholly.
