Keenan Curran

The coaches love Curran for his athletic ability and leadership. Stitt said Curran's issue wasn't a lack of effort. Instead, it was that he was trying to hard. He was playing with all his family in the stands and with his best friend on the other sideline. Expect a return to normal this week.

He'll learn from this and get better, I mean honestly if there ever was a game for him to over-think and then lose his mental edge and play the way he did... why not the UW game? Now he can use it to correct his mistakes and contribute in games where his play (good or bad) will actually affect the outcome.

Thats a valid point

Didn't he have a chance to "learn" last year about his drops? Yes, it was a problem.....

Don't think I've seen Justin Calhoun or Josh Horner have to learn from multiple dropped passes.

If it's 3rd and 10 in the 4th quarter, who would you throw it to?

Answer is Horner across the middle for 5 yards.

Presuming we throw and not run Calhoun up the middle for +2, the bubble screen to JLM for -2.

Yeah, because Calhoun's never broken a long run and JLM always loses yards when the ball is thrown to him.

Seriously, I just do NOT get the constant negativity from some posters here. It just never seems to end.

There is a solution to your angst. You post pretty much every day, and most days multiple times. Taking a break might be good for you and for the rest of us as well

Right. And just leave eGriz to the "glass-half-empty" group? Thanks, but I'll stay. If my posting bothers you so much, you're free to not let the door hit ya where the good lord split ya.

Actually we need more like him, to turn the tide of hate and negativity - to one of positive vibes, and enjoyment. To much trolling.

Reading eGriz reminds me of Oddball from Kelly's Heroes....."and those negative waves"

If you've seen the movie....you know what I mean. By the way I just realized we are playing the Tigers this week, so this link really could be eGriz...lol.

I realize there are some (many) of you that would like to see e-griz be some sort of smarmy booster club and control the content to only positive vibes. There are a couple ways to do that. Convince the moderator to ban anyone that doesn't meet your positive vibe standards. Or you could form your own mutual admiration society chat room and only communicate with each other. I have no problem with you refuting some posts that you don't agree with. Just quit whining about their ability to post and inferring they should leave the forum.

I'm indifferent on this issue, but I'm bloody impressed that you squeezed the word "smarmy" into an eGriz post. Well done.

From what I've seen, the strength of Curran's game is his ability to get separation on deep routes. I wish we'd quit trying to make him a possession receiver, quit asking him to run curls and quick outs, quit asking him to come back to the ball and make defenders miss. In my opinion, he's the guy you want to air it out to on 2nd and 1 or 3rd and forever. Curran's the kinda guy who should get three or four targets a game and end up with a stat line of 2 catches for 62 yards and a TD.

I would throw to Simis down the middle for 10 plus yards and 10 yac and possibly a TD.

Game, set, match.

A correction is needed, if you'll put up with maybe just a couple more negative waves...Oddball is the tank commander, played by Donald Sutherland. The complainer featured in your post is Moriarty, the mechanic, played by Gavin Macleod.

It is Oddball (me) that is always saying stop the negative waves to Moriarty. Moriarty being eGriz.
