Keaton Johnson is on a Montana recruiting tour!

That would be a better question for someone who has more insight to the inner workings between them. From the outside, my impression was that Green was leading a lot of the scouting and Keaton was more logistics and social media, but I don't actually know that.
It seems like Keaton was more the data analytics and coordinating role. He would bring available players to Green. Essentially a “here’s who’s available position”. Then Green and the coaches do the actual work of “can this guy play”. Which it should be. Keaton doesn’t have any football background and probably isn’t the right guy to analyze actual talent.

Where's Bobby been in the past week? Just asking. I heard Vigen was in Billings and Missoula.
I don’t have a problem with the assistants going out on the recruiting trail instead of Bobby, maybe these assistants connect better with high school students. Keaton Johnson is in his 20s. The big thing is that someone from the staff is out recruiting which the Griz are doing.

Why is it an either/or? Its great the assistants are out on the recruiting trail and they probably do connect better with the students based on age and disposition. BUT Bobby is still the HEAD COACH. He runs the team and the program. The student athletes ultimately play for him, not the assistants. And certainly not a recruiting director. In order to commit to play at UM, you are committing to play and sacrifice for the head coach. Because he is ultimately the one asking you and motivating you to be at your best, and do whatever is required to get there. I understand Bobby can't meet and recruit every kid out there. But he doesn't seem to have any in-person visits with recruits for several years now. And in light of MSU's recruiting prowess and Vigen showing up and hitting the recruiting trail, its hard not to think that showing up, as the Head Coach, and making a kid feel important, matters.

I assume Bobby has had many in-person visits with recruits. Where are you getting that info?

Ask the people around you day to day instead, im sure they'll clue you in..🤣

Sure thing, pal. Happily married for 35 years, 2 grown, productive kids, and a circle of close friends we spend lots and lots of time with.

WTF am I doing? I don't need to justify myself to you. Go suck on a dick.

How do all you "in the know" people know that Bobby is not out on the road recruiting also
Recruits never post pictures with him or mention meeting him on social media. Just the assistants. But some of them mention meeting Vigen or thank him for stopping by school/practice, i.e. two Big Sky High players, Pelc at Glacier, etc.
