Kaufman cut by the Bills

I am sure he was cringing when they traded up for Sammy Watkins....
Which I was hoping upon hope the Chiefs would do. That kid is going to tear it up!

Wow, what a bitter thread. There was a time when our conference would wish those from the Big Sky the best as they went on to a higher level.

Hey dude, towell off you hoser!

A small move to educate my many friends south of the 49th. I have never heard a Canadian say "hoser" outside of Dave Thomas and Rick Moranis. And "take off" or "towel off"....never

WTF are you talking aboot? Coasties say hoser all the time. Take off the bunnyhug and get a proper siwash already. There's a big world outside of Toontown. ;)

Not from Toontown. I'm from the city that rhymes with fun!

We don't need lessons in etiquette from the guys that wrote the NYT best seller "Bag of Dicks"

It's like PlaYaRApE lecturing on non threatening prose and humility.

Yeah, I gotta say I agree with you on this one. Guess people are still pissed about 2012

Apparently, the quality of receiver coming from the Big Sky is not NFL quality. There is not one Big Sky receiver playing that position in the NFL. Why is this?

Not sure, but I think EWU's Kupp will most likely be a WR at the NFL level... The dude can ball.

mariani was allegedly in line to be used more as a receiver before his broken leg. didn't he lead his team in receptions/yards in his first preseason? the key word being 'preseason', of course.

I do like his hands and agree he very good, however, he plays in the Big Sky where our NFL receivers record kind of speaks for itself. Hopefully Marc Mariani will finally get his chance this year to show there are receivers with quality hands from the Big Sky.

Ramses Barden was the most recent NFL receiver with any sort of production from a current Big Sky school. 5th year receiver currently with the Buffalo Bills. Had 14 catches for 220 yards to years ago with the Giants. Of course Cal Poly wasn't in the Big Sky when he started in the NFL.

Depends on the kid. This one thumbed his nose at everyone, blew his education let his team down. Its hard not to smile just a bit at the outcome. Starting one "job" before starting another is never a good thing. You gotta wonder who he was getting his advice from, if any. Even the Bills would have to question his commitment. Another year even in the big sky wouldn't have hurt his chances may even have helped may be he would have even had a degree.

Book mark this:

"No fu*king way Kupp makes an NFL roster......ZERO chance!"
 Too funny

He did have his degree and had gotten injured the two previous seasons so that may have factored into his decision. I wish he had stayed but I don't think ill of him for leaving. He did what he believed was best for him and it didn't work out. That said, no one that knows him would ever question his commitment or his character.

However, unlike Rjones61, it doesn't surprise me to hear the venom in this topic. It's an understandable reaction from another fan base that despite what they say about cheering on their conference mates don't really want to see any significant measure of success come their way. And there's also that human reaction ... After all, nothing makes us feel better about ourselves than to see someone else fail (particularly if they were previously successful).

Who cheers on conference mates?

Seriously there is one team in the BSC that is usually decent and the others fight to be above .500

Such a stupid comment

Within the context of this topic and the comments regarding supporting BSC players trying to make it in the NFL, it made sense but then again, it would require some reading comprehension instead of resorting to your default mode (insults and derision). I will give you credit for refraining from your usual deviant comments though!
