Yeah bummer. Without Katie, the lady Griz would not have won a conference game yet. Now they will have to win some without Katie. Hopefully it is not an ACL or MCL. If it is either one, she will be out the rest of the year. Maybe just a sprained knee.
Already have a player out due to an MCL. Ferda had a bad knee injury before her foot injury. Lady Griz do not need another player out for the rest of the year. It would bring back memories of a decade ago when Lady Griz had to play at Sentinel. That was a season that Cooper missed out due to a foot injury, Megan Harrington had an ACL, the guard that took over point guard had to play with a bum shoulder and couldn't dribble with both hands, Alison Turner had a foot injury, and they had to play at Sentinel. May have had other injuries I forgot about.
Anyway, hope for the best for Katie. Will have to rely on Robison at center, and figure Jessa Loman Linford will play there also. I figure Jessa will start, but maybe Robison will get her first start and finally get some meaningful minutes for the first time in her career other than an exhibition game.
