Kareem-Stuckey

Kareem Jamar's game reminds me a little bit of Rodney Stuckey's , except Kareem has a better stroke from beyond the arc. Stuckey was quicker at this point in his career and was more aggressive going to the hoop. Kareem may be a better rebounder at this point in their careers. Stuckey's first step was NBA and I'm not sure Kareem will have that freakish talent. I love the kid now but I think in two years we are going to have one heck of a baller in Kareem Jamar.

i didnt see stucky a whole lot, since i really only watched EWU play against the griz, adn a few othe random Big Sky games....but what i saw of stucky i really dont see how they are similar. I respect ur opinion, but i saw rodney as more of a slasher, driver, stop and pop guy who used his quickness and overall athletic ability..a guy who could "take over" a game by himself....Kareem is great, and i love his game but i not sure he is comparable to rodney....not talking about overall value because cuz kareems value is through the roof, just talking about style of play

Kareem compares to Stuckey in having a versatile, and complete game. Stuckey was a much better penetrator, and more explosive in the paint. Kareem has a better 3 pt shot, and better post up player.

I am glad the GRIZ are playing Kareem at SG. His size is that of a SG, not a SF, if he is to have a chance professionally. Kareem needs to improve his penetrating, quickness, and explosiveness to have a chance at the next level (NBA). Stuckey had all those things from the get go in college. Kareem is capable of it, but he needs to work on his game with the same commitment level we have seen from Will Cherry. I believe he will work toward that too.

How great is it to have 2 great guards as GRIZ at the same time?

it is fantastic isnt it! gotta love the guard play of this team. Really makes me think we could do some damage in the tourney this year, esp if we get a decent matchup.

GO GRIZ

And we will have them both back next year too!

When was the last time we had all 5 starters that could consistently hit 3 pointers too? All starting 5 for the Griz are shooting 40% or better from 3 point range in conference. 4 of the 5 are 40% or better for the season.

The Griz have so many weapons on this team that can light up the scoreboard in multiple ways. If the Griz end up in the tournament this year, they will be a scary team for a 5 or 4 seed to face.
