Pretty good read here on all the factors at play on a move to FBS

Might want to finish above 6th in an FCS conference and not be relying on flipping kids from NAIA schools commitments before you even say FBS .

Not one potential employer will look at those things or ask Haslam about them. Haslam will have to keep Hauck happy if he wants a good recommendation from him. Ha.

Becoming aware of our non competitive position regarding football scholarships which negates successful recruiting, UM will be fortunate to remain FCS.

lol this whole "finished 6th in the Big Sky" doom and gloom narrative is pretty funny considering how close we were to easily finishing in the top 3.

The article about being competitive is a little silly. MWC Griz would do well in immediately. JMU won their conference and Coastal Carolina is in that. Also spanked some teams I thought they had no chance against. 8-4 I think was their record. Yes...yes...I know, JMU>>>UM in everything financial, location, athletes...but still is a direct comparison.

Football, not horseshoes or hand grenades. "You are who your record says you are." - John Madden
