He deserves his own thread, though I’m sure he already has one. The dude is on fire. 8 straight games with a pick! Just unreal!

As impressive as the picks have been hes also had blanket coverage, great pass breakups is a great tackler and plays extremely physical.

Is it time to put him in the conversation with Tru?

i just can’t imagine what the people in the room were talking about when discussing additions at mid year to the Buchanan Award watch list…..

Should be getting looked at for defensive player of the year with what he has done

Definitely for national POY, but he will have to get 15 more INTs in the next game and cure cancer to be in the running for BSC defensive POY runner-up.

He’d lose it to a 7th year senior getting a longevity award.

There are 2 players from South Carolina and App State that have 5 to lead the 1-A.

Ford was tied for 1st with someone from Austin Peay, whose game is ending now, no stats to find out if that player had a pick.

Defensive POY should go to him nationally. For the Griz, a tie between him and O'Connell.

The guy from App state got 1 more today for 6 in 9 games. Austin Peay did not have an interception today Ford should lead the NCAA.

ESPN doesn't list it if he did, but regardless, Ford leading the entire Division 1.
