I think Nguyen could do well in the new offense. Nice acceleration, shifty, and can catch the b ball out of the backfield. Nguyen had no lost fumbles last season. His official fumble states are 1-0. He and Favors were the the only backs not to lose a fumble. Canada 4-2; Van 1-1; Logwood 1-1.

Don't know. I assume you can read the official stats and see that he had 1 official fumble and didn't lose any last year? Maybe because you think catching and returning punts is the same thing as running from the running back position? Maybe because you don't understand football?

Ya footballs the thing with the goals and the nets, and the goalie where you cant use your hands right? Or maybe you're just an arrogant prick that feels because he went to an Ivy League school back in 1942 or whenever, he knows more than everyone else. I don't think I'm out of line saying that the kid puts the ball on the ground more than most backs. Whether or not one of his teammates are there to fall on it doesn't really concern me.

Both Calhoun brothers look like real good additions to the team especially if it helps the coaches build up a recruiting pipeline to Long beach poly. I got a chuckle out of that kid in the background calling Justin Calhoun luigi. As stupid as it sounds I think it kinda fits the situation.

Why do you refuse to look at the facts? Nguyen had 1 fumble and no lost fumbles in 2014, in the official stats. Can you really not remember or distinguish between what a running back does and what a punt/kickoff returner does? When a runner fumbles the ball, it's counted as a fumble. In the several years that UM has picked up 2 or more from Bellevue High.

Bellevue High has a great football program but i don't think its holds the weight of Long Beach Poly. IMO

Bellevue beat Long Beach Poly 20-16 in 2005.

Bellevue ended De La Salle's 151-game win streak in 2004, 39-20.

Bellevue beat Serra this year. Don't know how good Serra ended up being. "Bellevue, ranked 13th in the country, opens this season Saturday against No. 17 Serra (Gardena, Calif.) in California as part of the Honor Bowl series, riding a 54-game win streak, the third longest in the country. "

Bellevue beat Trinity (Texas in 2012). "Bellevue, ranked seventh in the nation by ESPN, sealed the win when Nathan Derider intercepted a Trinity pass in overtime. Budda Baker’s 14-yard touchdown run on the Wolverines’ first possession of overtime had just put Bellevue on top."

Were any future Griz on that team that beat DaLeSalle?

The sad part is you think a guy has to play at UM for years to get a shot. He's the 2nd best WR we have even if EH comes back.

I think that is the most important thing to note. While I've never seen Bellevue and the teams in their division in action, I would be surprised if it was as competitive as DI CIF. Whether Bellevue or Poly is better, I don't know. But the opponents Poly faces are very likely more competitive as a whole than the ones Bellevue faces.

I'm sure these guys went up against Iman Marshall in practice quite a bit, and I seriously doubt there will be a BSC DB as good as Marshall.

I see one kid who I know was offered but didn't come to UM. Looks like one or more of Kanongata's brothers. There was a first round NFL pick o-lineman on the roster. If I'm looking at the roster for the right year.

I take all of that into consideration when making statements like this, and it really tells you what I think about what we have coming back which is not much. Our talent is waning and really shows with depth OL, DL, CB, S.

Not much of a stretch to say a talented kid who is explosive like Vann is going to fit in with what we have at PR, CB or WR.

He came off as a pretty intelligent guy in his interview and the article about him and his brother, not overly articulate but seemed to have a head on his shoulders. I think with Stitt's history coaching at CSM he will do an exceptional job making sure the team takes care of business in the classroom.
